A fatal road traffic collision occurred on the A4 Bath Road near Froxfield in Hungerford at around 7:15am today (19/8). A collision between a grey Honda Civic, a white Lexus CT200, and a silver Volkswagen Golf resulted in the death of the Lexus driver, a woman in her twenties.

The woman’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. A second woman, aged in her forties, who was driving the Golf, has received serious injuries and remains in hospital. Two people in the Honda Civic received minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.

Sergeant Robert Oliver-Clayson of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit said:

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this extremely difficult time. We are appealing for anyone with information or witnesses who may have been at the scene and have not yet spoken to us, to please get in touch.

Drivers who were in the area at the time are asked to review their dashcam footage as it may contain important information about the collision.
