A sexual assault occurred on the A4095 between North Leigh and Witney at around 9:30am on Saturday, 2 May. A woman was running along the road when an unknown man on a bicycle approached her, touched her, and then cycled away. Thankfully, the woman was not physically injured, but the incident was distressing. The offender is described as a white man in his early to mid-40s, with short black hair. He was wearing black clothing, including a jumper and possibly jogging bottoms. Thames Valley Police are conducting enquiries to identify the individual involved and are appealing for witnesses. If you were in the area at the time or have dash-cam footage, please come forward. The police are also keen to hear from anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage from properties along the route.
