A man has been sentenced to four years and four months in prison for drug offences in Bracknell. Claydon Heard, aged 39, of Leaves Green in Bracknell, pleaded guilty to possessing class A and class B drugs after being stopped by officers on multiple occasions.

The most recent incident occurred on 10 February this year, and he was arrested and charged the following day. Heard was convicted on 23 March and sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday 27 April.

“This sentence reflects the seriousness of the offences and the harm that the supply of drugs causes to our communities. Claydon Heard was repeatedly found in possession of controlled substances, including Class A drugs, and continued to offend despite previous police intervention. We remain committed to proactively targeting those involved in the supply of drugs and bringing offenders before the courts.”

said Investigating Officer PC Alistair Rokas.
