A 23-year-old man has been jailed for two years and two months for a cocaine offence in Wantage. Leonardo Silvestre, of no fixed abode, was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday 12th May. Silvestre was arrested on Denchworth Road, Wantage, on 11th April, after being found carrying 16 wraps of cocaine and cash on a delivery bike. Despite entering a guilty plea, the sentence reflects the seriousness with which the courts view this type of offending. Let this be a clear message: If you come to Wantage to deal drugs, we will find you, and we will ensure you are put before the courts and brought to justice.
